For soon-to-be parents, photographing the expectant mother’s baby bulge and chronicling the pregnancy is a wonderful way to capture the joy and excitement of establishing a new family.

The couple will always be able to go at their maternity photos and recall the moments leading up to the birth of their cherished kid.

And while each image of a pregnant lady is lovely in its own right, some are more memorable than others.

Dan Mozer, 30, a soon-to-be father, recommended that he and his wife take some photos at nearby Atlantic Beach in Jacksonville, Florida.

Locals adore the beach, which is a well-liked location for unwinding, strolling, and taking photos.

Dan was inspired and requested his wife, Angelina, to take photos with the water in the background.

He took out his camera and started taking shots.

Angelina stood before the ocean’s waves and flashed her growing baby belly.

However, Dan immediately realized that he had captured the image of a lifetime when he noticed what was in the background.

What was it behind Angelina that appeared at the ideal time?

Just as Dan took the photo, a dolphin jumped out of the water.

Dan was aware of dolphins nearby, so it wasn’t entirely unexpected. However, he didn’t anticipate catching one in the act while photographing his wife while she was expecting.

“When I took it, I was like, ‘Oh, my God!’ Unfortunately, she missed it,” Dan told AWM.

Dan and Angelina give the photo, taken on January 27, to their son Courtland. The couple makes fun of Courtland for supposedly summoning the dolphin from his mother’s womb.

Dan provided some further details to Yahoo about how the incredible image was created:

“Someone started yelling that there were dolphins, and we could see their dorsal fins. Then, out of nowhere, this thing jumps out of the water.”

Perhaps the dolphin understood what was going on?

“The dolphin jumped twice, but I liked the first jump picture best,” Dan said.

Although Courtland appears to be a dolphin whisperer, Angelina, and Dan won’t be changing his name. Dan responded, “No, we’re not changing his name to Dolph Finn, as some have suggested.”
