Nothing is more gratifying than witnessing someone break down barriers and defy societal expectations.

We are all in charge of our fate. Thus we get to decide how high the bar will be set, regardless of the “limitations” others may have.

A young girl from Malta, who is four years old, has set her sights high after winning hearts on the runway at a fashion show for models with disabilities.

Francesca Rausi, an event performer with Down syndrome, reportedly stood out and shone a bright light on everyone in attendance.

In show footage, Francesca can be seen strutting her stuff among more than 20 other models, ranging in age from four to 24.

Francesca has been modeling since she was very little, according to the girl’s mother, Michelle Rausi.

She adored it and was the first young child in Malta to participate in a modeling contest, where she won junior top model.

Francesca wants to work as a professional model, and Michelle said she thinks her daughter’s efforts will raise awareness of Down syndrome.

Tiny Francesca’s profession appears to be expanding, nevertheless. She has already won the Best Junior Super Model and Best Cutie Little Model awards at the Miss Junior Malta beauty contest, respectively.

Michelle said the delight in her young daughter’s eyes was out of this world, making her cry to watch her.

Michelle set up an Instagram account in her name to promote Francesca’s exceptional work and support her budding business.

Watching such a young girl thrive makes my heart melt. We are only constrained by the limitations we place on ourselves.
