She had four children: Michael Wilding Jr., Chris Wilding, Liza Todd, and Maria Burton. She was married eight times to seven men, twice to Richard Burton. Liz was fortunate to have ten lovely grandkids and four great-grandchildren because her children raised their own families and went on to adulthood.

The renowned actress endured a great deal of suffering in her final years. According to ABC News, she had undergone more than 30 operations and dealt with injuries, scoliosis, and skin cancer.

Taylor underwent a congestive heart failure admission at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles in 2011. On March 23, 2011, she passed away six weeks later.

Taylor had the good fortune to host her children and grandkids at her Bel Air, Los Angeles, estate before she passed away. Let’s get to know all ten of them since there are currently ten of them, and many of them are working hard to preserve Taylor’s legacy.

Wilding, Laela

The first child of Elizabeth, Michael Wilding Jr., is the mother of Laela Wilding. She was born in 1971 and currently resides in Portland, Oregon, where she works as a graphic designer and yoga instructor. In California, Laela grew up close to her grandmother. Laela Wilding spent a lot of time with her renowned grandmother because she was the only granddaughter, and there weren’t many other grandchildren vying for her attention as she grew up.

They frequently gathered on Sundays and holidays.

Laela has shared her love for her late grandmother Elizabeth in some interviews, like many of Elizabeth’s grandkids, have done.

In 2021, Laela told Today, “She was that person who recognized injustice, started talking about it, and never stopped talking about it.”

Laela also mentioned how her Oscar-winning grandma enjoyed doing her grandchildren’s haircuts and was very hands-on.

“Oh honey, get me the scissors,” she would remark as she cast a sidelong glance at you. She would begin by taking a tiny bit of fabric here and there. She was quite creative. Laela remembered that she had a fantastic eye.

Many people have noted that Laela has been remarkably similar to her grandma. She has additionally been dubbed the reincarnation of the Cleopatra actress from 1963. Which do you believe?

Wilding, Naomi deLuce

Laela Wilding’s sister Naomi deLuce Wilding was born in 1976, making them five years apart in age. At the Wilding Cran Gallery in Los Angeles, which she and her husband, Anthony Gran, launched in 2014, Naomi works Today. Naomi maintains a close relationship with the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, just like her older sister.

Naomi referred to her grandma as having the mindset that she was in charge of raising the family’s younger members. She placed a high priority on instilling these principles in us as well.

She had never seen Taylor in the role of an actor, but she had always admired her.

“I distinctly recall sitting on the floor of her dressing room and passively watching her get dressed and go through this kind of change. “Just because someone is a superstar doesn’t mean they can’t still be a warm, cuddly, delicious grandma who was always inviting us in,” Naomi said in an interview with Today.

Caleb Wilding

Caleb Wilding, Elizabeth Taylor’s third grandchild and first grandson, was born in 1983. After numerous unsuccessful pregnancies, Caleb was adopted by Christopher Wilding and Aileen Getty.

The little known about Caleb indicates that he enjoys his life away from the spotlight and is a motorbike enthusiast.

Andrew Wilding

The second grandson of Elizabeth Taylor was born in 1984 and is named Andrew Wilding. In contrast to his brother Caleb, Andrew followed his grandmother’s example and worked in the entertainment sector. He has participated in various plays as an actor.

Although Andrew is most recognized for his work as a cinematographer and producer, he has frequently decided to work from behind the camera.

Tarquin Wilding

In the United States, Tarquin Wilding was born in Los Angeles in 1989. He is the eighth of Taylor’s grandchildren and the half-brother of Laela and Naomi.

Tarquin decided to pursue an acting career after being inspired by his well-known grandmother. His roles in Silent But Deadly (2012), Shameless (2011), and In Between are his most well-known roles (2009).

Tarquin describes himself as a wannabe filmmaker who enjoys motorcycles and dogs. He participates with the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, just like many of Taylor’s grandkids.

“My grandma was an absolute badass! She is so generous and has such unwavering courage, and I can’t help but be impressed by her. I want to carry on her legacy, contribute to the fight for an AIDS-free generation, and provide a better future for people with HIV/AIDS.

Lowell Wilding

Christopher Wilding and Margaret Carlton’s second child, Lowell Wilding, was born in 1991. By working on the Elizabeth Taylor Archive, Lowell is preserving his grandmother’s legacy.

He also represents her AIDS fund as an ambassador.

“I was always completely amazed by the amazing things my grandmother was able to do in her lifetime. She had the option to do nothing, just like so many others. Instead, she campaigned for those who were HIV/AIDS-positive and attempted to help them. I want to do everything I can to uphold and carry on that legacy,” he stated.

Tivey, Quinn

Liza Todd, Elizabeth Taylor’s third child, and Hap Tivey are the parents of Quinn Tivey. Contrary to his grandmother, who was born in 1986, he did not grow up on the west coast.

Quinn worked as a server and busboy at The Quarry steakhouse in Hudson Valley, New York. Later, he attended the University of Southern California to study film and earned an MFA from the School of Visual Arts. According to N.Y. Post, he chose not to omit his grandmother’s name from his USC application.

Later, he would be an assistant in the Ben Affleck-starring movie The Company Men from 2010 onward. Quinn turned out to be an artist as she grew older. As a child, he remembered admiring his cherished grandmother.

In 2019, he reportedly claimed, “I always knew her as grandma, but in real life, she was still larger than life.” She was a wonderful matriarch.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he praised his loving grandma as merely a grandmother, not the renowned actress Elizabeth Taylor.

We converse while watching movies in bed, and she gives me advice. Quinn said these are some of the ways I most vividly recall her.

Quinn’s life was significantly different from that of his grandmother, Elizabeth Taylor. But they undoubtedly had one thing in common. They appear.

The grandson and grandmother’s similarity is obvious!

R. H. Tivey

The ninth grandchild of Taylor is Rhys Tivey.

“My grandmother would treat everyone she met with the utmost respect and honor their souls without regard for their race, ethnicity, or social class. However, she was never afraid to point out B.S. when she noticed it. Her legacy in the fight against HIV/AIDS embodies her humanitarian fervor. It is truly admirable to achieve the degree of authority and achievement she accomplished while sincerely caring for others’ well-being. The support she offered me and so many others has motivated me daily, says Rhys.

Elizabeth Carson

Although Elizabeth Carson wasn’t Elizabeth Taylor’s actual grandchild, her grandmother adored her dearly. She was named after her grandma when she was born in 1982.

Maria Burton, Taylor’s adoptive daughter, is the mother of Elizabeth Carson. She has fond memories of the glitzy Hollywood legend who also happens to be her name.

She performed my hair and cosmetics for my junior and senior proms; the woman told Town & Country. I once suggested that we visit Sephora while talking about makeup, which turned out to be disastrous. We had a good time for the first fifteen minutes, but we had to leave immediately when she was recognized.

Carson is an ambassador for the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation and a social worker in New York Today.

“I work for the Department of Child Protection in New York City, and I have to tell you, I cry every time I hear of an infant born to an HIV-positive mother who tests negative thanks to advances in treatment and prevention. I frequently give my grandma a quiet thank you because, without her and other activists who shared her zeal, things might not be as they are now.

Steven McKeown

The youngest and last of Taylor’s grandchildren, Richard McKeown, is Maria Burton’s son.

There isn’t much information available on him, but his mother’s filing for a restraining order against Richard’s father during his early years caused him some serious anxiety.
