She acknowledged that she wasn’t intrigued but that Newman eventually became drawn to her. The “extraordinarily beautiful girl” that was Joanne was all Newman could think about.
According to Newman’s memoir by Marian Edelman Borden, Woodard reportedly said:
“I hated him on sight, but he was so funny, pretty, and neat.”

Joanna Woodward and Paul Newman chose to raise their family in Connecticut, far from the hectic pace of Hollywood.
During a 55-year-old Clea’s conversation with Daily Mail, she discussed her mother.
She claims that her mother “was extremely ahead of her time.” She was a hands-on mother who nursed me on set as an infant and was involved in women’s liberation before it was a popular movement. In scenes, she would pause the filming and apologize, saying, “Sorry, I’ve got to feed the baby.”

It took place when Joanne arrived on location for the 1998 film Twilight, during which he was working.

Sibling raises concern
The pair also developed the well-known salad dressing Newman’s Own, all of the proceeds from which go to charity.
“They had a love of newlyweds,” family friend Bob Forrester told People about the couple. “When I would fly with him all over the world, the moment the plane landed, Paul would call Joanne, and he always said, ‘I love you,’ even after 50 years of marriage. She was his everything. They were soulmates.”

Daughter Clea discusses her mother Joanne, who is 92 years old, and how much she resembles her in an interview with the Daily Mail.
I wish I had the complexion of my mother, she said. “She’s 86, but I have more creases than she does!” Her complexion is so gorgeous, but it irritates me. But back then, she used sunblock even before it was a thing. She has never avoided wearing a hat in the weather, in my experience.
