Many of us have heard of or even seen films of people adopting wild animals and safely rearing them as pets. Have you ever seen a domesticated bear living with a family of humans? Right now, you have Stepan; the bear was found as a cub in a Russian forest, abandoned, and on the verge of death. A Moscow-based couple decided to take him in and make him a family member. They adopted a bear cub that had been left behind for adoption 23 years earlier. The couple has been traveling with the giant bear ever since.
Svetlana and Yuriy Panteleenko took in Stepan, an abandoned bear when the bear was only three months old and adopted him as their own. When the hunters spotted the baby animal, they took it back into the forest. At the moment, Stepan’s heart was in serious trouble. They chose to move him to the cub and provide him with a new home.
Twenty-three years ago, the adoption took place. Cub, who could not find a mother. Stepan has gained a lot of weight and is now 300 pounds. His height is seven feet.
Some people may fear the bear because of his appearance and behavior. But it turns out that Stepan the Bear is a kind and loving friend. His two favorite things with his human buddies are to hug and cuddle them.
And also, the bear is not responsible for the harm done to anyone else. In the presence of others, he is thrilled. Stepan helps his mom out around the house by watering plants and doing other housework.
“It is said that he is an amiable bear because he likes people. Despite what some people may believe, he is not belligerent. We’ve never been bitten with Stepan.”
One of The Bear’s favorite hobbies is sitting with his grandparents in front of the TV. He is always ready to ask for kisses and hugs at this time.
Stephan enjoys watching TV on the sofa most in the evening.
Stephan has such an enormous hunger. Each day, he eats up to 25 kg of fish, eggs, fruits, and vegetables. The most common snack is canned condensed milk.
The bear enjoys nerds. He enjoys playing football and being a model for movies and photo shoots.
