According to Grammer, Chuck realized that his previous methods were ineffective in getting people to listen, so he surrendered and decided to try a different approach. Chuck said, “You show me a hippie, and I’ll listen,” which led to a dynamic relationship between him and Lonnie Frisbee. This partnership became a great adventure that continues to this day. As a result of Chuck’s efforts, his Calvary Chapel branched into 1,000 churches around the country and still exists. Grammer also pointed out that the Jesus movement was responsible for the rise of Christian contemporary music, which has been very successful and can be traced back to Chuck’s efforts.

Regarding his personal life, the actor shared that he is also a man of faith. He revealed that he had experienced hiccups and tragic times and had had to wrestle with them. At times, he rejected faith and even God, feeling angry and questioning where God was during those difficult times. However, he eventually worked his way through those struggles.
