Michael Jackson was worthy of the title “The King of Pop” since he left the world with an amazing impact as an outstanding singer, songwriter, dancer, and entertainer. He left behind a legacy that will live on forever.
But Michael Jackson was also a family man; in his career, he had three children with two different women. Sadly, he passed away 11 years ago from a tragic accident.
Bigi Jackson, the dad’s youngest child, was 18 years old in 2020. Recently, he’s been active on various social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
When you look at the most recent images of Michael’s third child, you can see similarities to the well-known pop star.
Marriages of Michael Jackson
The tabloids often posted stories on Michael Jackson’s private life, marriage, and children up to his death. There were many suspicions since Michael had three children with two separate women.
In addition to speculating about each child’s true mother, the press often questioned whether or not Michael Jackson was the biological father of those children.
When you consider Michael’s past relationships, it may not seem so strange that the media was interested in discovering more.
The Jackson 5
In 1974, Michael Jackson began dating Lisa Marie Presley, who would later become his first wife. At the time, he was just 16 years old when he first saw Lisa, and none other than Elvis Presley personally was the one who put the two of them in contact with one another in a hotel room in Las Vegas.
At the time, Lisa was only 6 years old, but she was already a devoted fan of the Jackson 5. In particular, she cherished the performance of the young singer.
However, it would be another 18 years before the pair would meet again, and this time it would be at a dinner held by the artist Brett Livingstone Strong. After some time passed, the two people started developing feelings for one another and began making regular phone calls.
Both Michael and Lisa had difficult relationships with the “real” world, which was one of the many things they shared in common. They had been famous since they were little, so they had spent their whole lives shielded from the real world.
When Lisa began seeing Michael, she was still married to the actor Danny Keough, with whom she had two children from a previous marriage. But over time, Michael and Lisa built more than just a friendship; in fact, Michael even asked Lisa out over the phone.
“If I asked you to marry me, would you do it?”
The answer was yes, and Lisa ultimately ended up divorcing Danny. Twenty short days following the finalization of the divorce, Michael and Lisa went ahead and got married. In 1994, the happy couple exchanged their vows at a ceremony held in the Dominican Republic. It is important not to underestimate the significance of the wedding between these mega-celebrities.
“The Marriage of the Century.”
However, it wasn’t long before their marriage fell into complete chaos. Lisa Marie and her husband made the decision not to start a family. She believed that Michael was not mature enough to take on the role of a father, and she could not see a future with the American singer.

According to Lisa, Michael struggled with his adult relationships and was “childish,” often doing child-like things. Michael, meanwhile, purportedly really wanted to become a father. He is said to have explained to Lisa that she didn’t have to carry his children if she did not want to.
“My friend Debbie [Rowe] said she will get pregnant and have my baby. If you do not do it, then she will. How about that?” Michael told her, as per the book “Michael Jackson: The Magic and the Madness” by J. Randy Taraborrelli.
According to the reports, Lisa responded that she had no problem with it. Despite being divorced in 1996, the pair dated for four years.
Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe
Throughout his entire marriage to Lisa Presley, he never stopped having an affair with Debbie Rowe, even though he was legally married to Lisa.
Michael and Debbie go back a very long way. When Debbie worked as an assistant for the pop singer’s dermatologist in the middle of the 1980s, they crossed paths. For some time, Michael’s long-term skin condition, vitiligo, needed Debbie’s help in the treatment process.
The two people soon formed a close friendship that led to more than that.
1996, Michael and Debbie tied the knot, and the following year saw the birth of two of Jackson’s three children. Michael Joseph “Prince” Jackson Jr. was born in 1997 to Debbie; she gave birth to him. Paris Michael Katherine Jackson eventually came after a year.
Parenting was handled in a fairly strange manner by Michael and Debbie.
Debbie served as more of a surrogate mother since Michael preferred to raise the kids at the Neverland Ranch by himself. Debbie didn’t want to grow close to her kids, so she sometimes visited them.
“My kids don’t call me Mom because I don’t want them to. They’re Michael’s children. It’s not that they are not my children, but I had them because I wanted him to be a father. People say, ‘I can’t believe she left her children.’ Left them? Did I leave my children? I did not leave my children. My children are with their father, where they are supposed to be. I didn’t do it to be a mother… If he called me tonight and said let’s have five more [children], I’d do it in a heartbeat,” Debbie said in an interview with English journalist Martin Bashir.
Nevertheless, it is certain that this “deal” was a strain on her.
In the end, Debbie’s dissatisfaction with the arrangement was painfully clear when she submitted a divorce petition in 1999. As part of the divorce settlement, Debbie agreed to give Michael sole custody of her children. Despite it, the two people remained friends.
Michael Jackson’s youngest child
The birth of Michael Jackson’s third child took place in February 2002. The child was given the name Prince Michael Jackson II, but soon after his birth, people began calling him “Blanket.” The origin of Prince’s nickname could be traced back to the fact that he was never seen in public without a blanket covering his face.
But there was also something beautiful about the odd nickname, according to Michael.
“A blanket is a blessing, a way of showing loving and caring,” he once said.
When Michael held “Blanket” over a balcony railing on the fourth story of a hotel in Berlin, he brought his name to the attention of people all over the globe. Many people were taken away and said Michael threatened his child’s life. In a second comment, MJ would express remorse for the event and clarify that he had been emotionally overcome.
Bigi Jackson mother
No information on the woman who gave birth to Michael’s third child is available. Although Debbie Rowe has categorically denied it, there have been rumors that she is Prince Michael II’s birth mother. Michael himself said that the child was born via artificial insemination and that he was unaware of the mother.
In 2015, the man known as “Blanket” revealed that he preferred to be known as “Bigi.” It was a huge and significant step for him – according to various reports in the media, Bigi had been made fun of for his nickname when he was a child.
When Bigi’s father died in June 2009, the little boy was just seven years old. At the young age of only 50, the King of Pop died at home after having a heart attack and passing away.
Bigi Jackson was raised by Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson, after his father’s untimely death. Additionally, Jackson’s nephew TJ Jackson came to the aid of the family and the children in their time of need.
Bigi Jackson Today
It seems that Bigi had a very tough time dealing with the loss of his father; he had a very difficult time accepting that Michael was no longer healthy. Some stories state that Bigi became quiet during this experience for a while.
As of now, though, it looks as if Bigi is holding up well.
Bigi Jackson now calls the city of Calabasa, California, home. There are rumors that he lives in a home that is part of a private community that is guarded by gates and that some of his neighbors include famous people like John Travolta and Dr. Dre.
The young guy, now 18 years old, is focusing on his studies at Buckley School, a renowned private institution in Sherman Oaks, California. He enjoys participating in karate competitions and hanging out with many relatives in his spare time.
Bigi is now being watched after by his elder cousin T.J. Jackson because his grandma Katherine will soon be turning 91.
Bigi has, as a rule, made an effort to avoid becoming the center of attention. However, he does show up at public events on occasion. For instance, he attended the graduation ceremony for his elder brother Prince’s graduation from Loyola Marymount University in May 2019, when he could be seen in the crowd.
Bigi has also launched a channel on Youtube together with his brother, Prince Jackson. Film Family is the name of the brothers’ YouTube channel, where they share their opinions on a variety of films. At the time, the channel had 35,000 subscribers, with just a few videos uploaded. So maybe we’ll see more of Gigi in the future?
Bigi and his dad are quite similar in several respects, which leads me to believe that Bigi has inherited quite a few of his father’s good features.
It’s impossible not to think of Michael when you see Bigi with his long, dark hair. The young man also seems to share his father’s love of comic books and superheroes. Bigi is often seen wearing t-shirts with characters from Marvel’s Avengers.
We already know how difficult it may be for a child to have a famous parent. It’s unlikely that Bigi will be an exception. Don’t forget that he had to go through the tough process of mourning in front of cameras from all around the globe.
But based on what we know now, Bigi seems to take pleasure in his life and participate in everyday activities, just as most other teens do, which is a promising sign.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that things stay this way, no matter what Bigi decides to do with his life in the coming years.
