A mother realized her youngest child was a twin after finding an old photograph. Nevertheless, she planned a reunion to offer her daughter the most generous Christmas present.
Since the internet was created, it has become easier to communicate with friends, family, and even strangers.
Two very different parents—one from Wisconsin and the other from Washington met on this street after moving from their respective states.
Their first encounter led to the ecstatic reunion of their adoptive kids, twins.

The Birth of the Twins and Its Effects
Gracie Rainsberry and Audrey Doering were identical twins from birth. The girls were divided before they realized their connection; they were both born in China.
The Doering went to China and took in Audrey, a young child with a heart condition. Including baby Gracie in the mix was a lovely idea because the Rainsberry family, another Washington family, was also considering having another child.
Audrey’s Unique Christmas Present
For Christmas, Audrey begged her parents for a baby sibling. Jennifer Doering sought to locate the ideal holiday package because she couldn’t deliver it to her daughter, which prompted her to look into Audrey’s past.
Jennifer found a photograph of two infants standing with their Chinese foster mother after enlisting the aid of a Chinese researcher; the infants appeared to be twins and had similar clothing and hairdo.

Jennifer recognized Audrey as one of the infants but was unfamiliar with the other sibling. She said she was so desperate to learn about the other baby that she was overcome.
She was perplexed when she learned the other child was Audrey’s identical twin, who also resided in the US with her adoptive parents, but she still set out to discover Gracie’s mother, Nicole Rainsberry.

The Twins’ Relationship
Jennifer looked through dozens of Facebook profiles before discovering Nicole, a local of Washington. The women wanted their daughters to connect, despite their great distances.
Nicole, like Jennifer, was astounded by how much the two now 10-year-olds resembled each other. She stated in an interview: ” “I mean, that stuff is difficult to digest. Looking at what resembled Gracie while knowing it wasn’t Gracie was crazy.”

A Joyful Reunion
They decided to arrange a highly public reunion after reaching an understanding between the families and forging a bond through ongoing communication between the sisters.
In January 2017, the families came together at the GMA studios. The striking similarities between Audrey and Gracie included their spectacles, hair color, grins, and even matching-colored clothing.

They embraced each other, smiling and crying as they did so. The females admitted that they were happy despite their feelings.
Audrey even said that before meeting her twin sister, she thought something was missing, but she realized it was complete once she did. Through routine gatherings, the Doering and Rainsberrys hoped to strengthen the bonds between the girls.
A Reunion Story Like That
Anais Bordier and Samantha Futerman, two identical adult twins, reunited after finding each other on Facebook four years before the Audrey-Gracie tale.
Bordier aspired to be a fashion designer while growing up and studying in London. A friend emailed her a picture of a YouTube actor in December 2012 who resembled her perfectly.
She initially discounted it because she couldn’t uncover the actress’s identity. But a month later, when the same acquaintance sent Bordier a movie with the same character, Bordier was driven to identify the actress.
She got in touch with Futerman, a New Jersey native, only to learn that their birthdays, characteristics, and appearances were similar. The women met up again, first online and then in person. They grew close and collaborated to create a book and documentary about their lives.
