After years of trying to start a family, Drew Scott and his wife Linda Phan successfully had a child in the year 2022.

The couple gave their baby son a stunning new space to call his own by transforming Phan’s craft room into a nursery.

Before Scott and Phan’s wedding in 2018, Scott put his talent for renovation to use by enhancing their home in Los Angeles, which he shared with Phan.

Celebrities from the Canadian Reality Television Scene, Drew Scott, have spent significant time working in the entertainment business. He is most known for his role as co-host on the television show “Property Brothers,” which focuses on the restoration of homes. Drew’s life is not solely centered on his career in the entertainment industry.

He is known to be a devoted family member away from the spotlight. One of the most heartwarming love stories in the entertainment business is the one shared by Scott and his wife, Linda Phan, who has been married for four years and are very much in love with each other.

During Toronto Fashion Week in 2010, the two people met for the first time, and not too long after that, they began a personal relationship. After dating for a few years before the proposal, which took place in December 2016 at an elegant dinner gathering, Scott popped the question to Phan.

In 2018, the couple tied the knot in front of 300 immediate family members and close friends in Italy. However, Scott and Phan would disclose three years later that the “I do” they exchanged during their Italian destination wedding was not the first time they had done so.

It surprised viewers when Linda and Drew Scott revealed on their YouTube account titled “At Home With Linda & Drew Scott” that their first wedding ceremony took place in a hot tub in the city of Nashville, Tennessee.

The star of “Property Brothers” stated that he and Phan did not trade bands but burgers for one another.

Scott clarified that the Justice of the Peace thought it was the coolest thing she had ever seen, even though it may have been one of the most unusual methods to get married.

The HGTV personality and his wife were excited to start a family after their two weddings, but they found the path to parenthood more difficult than they had anticipated.

In an essay they wrote for Real Magazine, Scott and Phan detailed how, despite their best efforts, they could not conceive a child for two years. Because the couple believed that becoming pregnant would happen on its own, they initially didn’t put much effort into trying to have a baby. They thought that becoming pregnant would happen naturally.

Despite this, nothing happened to Phan for the next two years, and he ultimately developed feelings of depression and anxiety.

She believed it was too late and was upset with herself for not putting in more effort at the beginning of the situation. After that, the couple was exposed to the coronavirus, and during that time, they believed that trying to conceive would be simpler because they would spend more time together.

But hearing that people were dying worldwide was very upsetting, making it even harder on the mind.

Despite this, Scott and Phan did not give up and tried other options. They improved their diet, kept a log of their menstruation cycles, went to the doctor, got plenty of rest, meditated, and worked out regularly. The results of their work became apparent in due time.

They were thrilled to learn from their doctors that they would become parents and couldn’t have been happier.

In the essay, Phan reflected on the feelings of relief, happiness, and peace that she experienced. After that, in December 2021, Scott and his wife announced their pregnancy to the rest of the world.

In a post they made on Instagram, the HGTV star and Phan shared two mirror pictures showing Phan’s growing baby bump. They also mentioned that getting to this point had been an “adventure” for them.

At 44, Scott became a parent for the first time the following year, on May 12, 2022, when his and Phan’s first child, a son named Parker James, was born. In their podcast, nearly three weeks and a half later, the happy couple broke the news to their fans.

A Breakdown of the Couple’s Fantasy Baby Room

One month after the birth of their son Parker, Scott and Phan went to YouTube to give viewers an inside look at the nature-themed nursery they had recently renovated for their child.

The home has many other great features, such as a combined kitchen and dining area with a rectangular table in the middle, custom shelving, and beautiful light installations.

The gray “Jungle Land” wallpaper by Rebel Walls was one of the stunning details in the clip. Scott noticed that the new design that Katie Hunt put in place looks great, with the light pink color on the ceiling.

The refurbished bassinet that served as Parker’s sleeping space was an additional important component of the nursery. The baby was given the furniture by Scott and his siblings, who had owned it for the previous 46 years and had passed it down through the family.

Along with the cradle and the gray wallpaper adorned the walls, the nursery displayed a green sofa and a bar cart that doubled as a daybed. Scott stated that they decided to purchase the furniture because it would benefit them whenever one of them was responsible for watching the baby overnight.

Contemporary touches, such as the Globo Five-Light Chandelier by Jonathan Adler and the Maren Olive Cane Dresser from Crate & Kids, are lovely additions to the nursery. Other lovely facets of the nursery include stuffed animals from Scott and Phan’s childhoods, closet hooks made from repurposed door knobs, and many stuffed animals from Scott and Phan’s childhoods.

When it came down to it, Scott and Phan wanted to establish a place full of “whimsy, adventure, and love,” so they ultimately settled on a nature-based motif.

Inside Scott and Phan’s Los Angeles Home

The design that Scott and Phan have in mind for their nursery would not be the first time they have modified their current house. Before getting married, the couple spent a lot of time and money making their house in Los Angeles, where they currently reside, look stunning with some improvements.

The decor is stunning; one example is the living room, which is decorated in a theme that incorporates gold, black, green, and cream. In addition, it has a fireplace with a distinct geometric structure that Scott and Phan had initially intended to get rid of.

The house also features a beautiful master bedroom with a black, cream, white, and brown theme. It has a beautiful bed and mattress, so the couple can kick back and watch a video or enjoy breakfast in bed if they choose.

The home has many other wonderful attributes, including a combined kitchen and dining area with a rectangular table in the center, custom shelving, and beautiful light installations.

All things considered, Scott and Phan are overjoyed to now be residing in a house that they have remodeled. According to the two, they were looking for a house that had never been lived in before, and as soon as they saw it, they knew it was the right one for them. At this point in their lives, the couple is focusing on raising their son and creating wonderful, lifelong memories at home with each other and their son.
