The majority of individuals are now not doing well financially. Many young people are unemployed, and some even find themselves homeless and living on the streets.
But this young man’s inspirational tale shows us that if you are ready to put in the necessary effort, you can overcome any difficult period.

A guy named Chris Williams, 26 is from Chicago. The young man chose to join a finance school in Phoenix, Arizona, as he wanted a great future.
But he quickly discovered that he was unable to get a job. To enhance his chances of success in his search for a steady income, he even went so far as to move to Miami, Florida. He was forced to stay in his car, take showers at the neighborhood gym, and get his clothes cleaned.
He was homeless for four months and lived in his car.

“I had to sleep in the car, and I expected it to be maybe a couple of weeks, maybe a couple of pay periods, and it ended up turning into three months,” he recounted.

His life was rough, but he never gave up hope of improving it.

“I was telling everybody I was staying in an Airbnb, and I wasn’t.” I did not tell my family until the last month of it. “I wanted to figure it out,” he explained. “I didn’t want to go back home, and I didn’t want to go back until I figured it out.”

However, he finally got a six-figure salary after being hired as an automotive finance manager! His new life goal was to raise enough cash to buy a Subway franchise. He also raised $120,000 in just ten months to start working on his dream.

He made do by using Planet Fitness as a location to shower and change before heading to work.

“I owe planet fitness an apology,” he said with a laugh.

After being homeless for a short time, Chris bought the youngest African-American Subway franchise in Atlanta.

“I understand the potential and the power of owning your store and the impact it can make your community,” he said.

” The benefit of having your own business is that you can eat your cookies whenever you want to,” he joked.

Chris had always been passionate about starting his own business. He kept reading books and enhancing his business knowledge even when he was forced to live in his car due to difficult financial troubles. He was ambitious and determined!

“When I left … my goal was to pursue a better life,” he said. “I was tired of the gang violence, the poverty, the drugs.”

And he wants other young people to hear this.

“I would say don’t give up. Don’t quit, and never take no for an answer,” he encouraged.

Thanks to his dedication and quick thinking, he has achieved his dream. Only a few people ever reach even the smallest of their life goals.

But this proves perseverance pays off and opens doors you never thought possible.
