After their breakup teacher Epstein relocated to Thailand after their breakup, but they remained in contact.

According to Danielle, abandoning someone because they have cancer made me feel like the worst person ever, but doing so was bad for both my mental health and Jelle’s.

She claimed she felt horrible about leaving Fresen while he was battling the illness that could kill him, but she was suffering from mental health issues and couldn’t continue.

But right now, she is running the London Marathon in Jelle’s memory to raise money for a brain tumor charity.

According to Danielle, we were on a specific path to a specific future, but after just one day, we realized things wouldn’t proceed as planned.

I was unable to eat or sleep due to my worry and devastation.

I could not function since I took many medications to treat my panic episodes.

Even after she and her father visited Thailand, Jelle, and Danielle remained close friends. She checked in on him frequently to see how he was doing.

I still genuinely love Jelle and want to be there for him, but I’ve come to the conclusion that I can’t be his partner any longer, she added.

After his surgery, Jelle developed nerve damage that immobilized the right side of his face, causing him to squint and experience double vision. According to Daily Mail, he can’t fully close his eye and needs to use eye drops and ointments.

Danielle stated her decision to participate in the brain tumor marathon in Jelle’s honor: “I felt so powerless watching all this unfold, so I knew I had to do something.”Since Jelle has raced marathons before and I don’t, I thought it would be a challenge for me and a great way to honor him. It also felt like something to strive for.

She said I wouldn’t be quick, but I was determined to get around. Training has been intellectually and physically taxing; it might be difficult to push through boredom. However, I am the most motivated; if Jelle can endure all of this, I can complete a marathon.
